Our Christmas 2013 schedule
Monday the 21st: Supper with my mom's side of the family
{delayed from Saturday the 19th due to bad whether}

Wednesday the 25th: Lunch at mom and dad's
Thursday the 26th: Appetizers with my mother in-law
Sunday the 29th: Celebrating all day at my mom and dad's with the whole family
I don't even know where to begin other than to say - we are BLESSED
We have everything we could possibly need
A WARM HOME, BEAUTIFUL FAMILY and JOBS

On Christmas day, my best friend from high school lost her mom
Sara was at her mom's house and was trying to persuade her mom to go to the ER
Minutes later, she and her brother were performing CPR and she slipped away
My heart aches for her and her family

Making a Christmas list has become a struggle
My lists over the years get more practical

I would be content getting nothing, I have EVERYTHING I need
But I LOVE giving and watching people open gifts
The boys LOVED what they got and know they are truly blessed

So will you drop the boys off at the pool or go w/ them? Just curious what the appropriate age for that is (we are still too young for sure!). Thinking of trying to convince Andy of getting a pool for here since we won't get to do the pool much this summer w/ the baby around - too much sun for that sensitive little skin! Is it worth the investment??
ReplyDeleteI will be staying with the boys at the pool. I don't know if the pool has a certain age when the kids can be left but I won't let mine stay alone. Too many creeps and I just feel more safe that way.
DeleteWe had a small 3 foot pool but it was under a big shade tree so it never got real warm and it was also messy from the leaves and stuff that would fall in. We spent more time cleaning it than anything.
When the boys have baseball games, I won't let them swim because they get to tired and hot. Now that we will have a pool pass, we can go for an hour and not feel bad about the $ spent.
